Lonely Path is a 7 piece psychedelic jam band from Boston. You could say they were the 'black sheep' of Berklee College of Music', who formed a musical alliance with members from across the US and Australia. The 7 kindred spirits of this band have a penchant and passion towards progressive music and grooves that could facilitate moments of self discovery and internal exploration. After spending most of 2018 writing and recording their debut record, a few basement house shows around Boston and the formidable 'Barn' show in rural Massachusetts, Lonely Path have now burst out onto the local scene, playing shows at Thunder Road in Sommerville and their album launch party at An Taine, South Boston to an overwhelmingly positive response from audience members. The band of brothers have developed a strong musical relationship in this time and have discovered a unique attitude and philosophy towards their own productions and live shows that display their strong musicianship by weaving improvised/live composed sections into their performances and recordings. Lonely Path aim to forge their place into the festival and jam band scene in the U.S while also delving into neighbouring genres of psychedelic rock, funk and hip hop, all with their unique voice and perspective.
